Sayyidul ayyam~

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A German proverb says:

"To change and to change for the better are two different things"

But did you know something? How sure you are that things around us is going to change? can you guarantee that everything will stay the same for the next 3-5 years? And how sure you are the things around me will change and force me to change too?

Remember Allah The Almighty has said :

"And we will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and the lost of wealth and lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to the patient [Al-Baqarah 2 : 155]

but in the same surah Allah has said :

"Allah doesn't burden a soul beyond its capacity [Al-Baqarah 2 : 286]

First our Lord warned us beforehand the test of change that we will face. Then He told us not to worry because it won't be something that we couldn't handle.

Perhaps we should ponder upon what Aeschylus says:
"I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning to sail my ship"

So my friends, for this Hijrah New Year lets us face upon all the changes that happen around us. Rather than being afraid toward something, doesn't it better for us to change to challenge that 'thing'?

What we ever need is our holy book al-Quran, sunnah, vision and determination to face another year in our live inshaaAllah.

Kullu 'am wa antum bikhoir ^.^
